Greentube Acquires San Francisco-based Present Creative

Greentube, a digital division of Novomatic, has acquired a US-facing gaming developer, Present Creative; the amount is undisclosed.

This purchase is another step for Greentube in expanding its presence in the American market, following a year in which the company has made significant progress in establishing its position nationally in iGaming.

It is worth reminding that Greentube first entered the US in September 2021, and now the company is represented in New Jersey and Michigan as well as in Ontario, Canada. The business has publicly stated its intention to expand in the US.

Michael Bauer, Greentube CFO, noted that they were thrilled to announce that acquisition as Present Creative was a perfect fit for them. He also said that Present Creative had a strong experience in developing exciting games and knew the intricacies of the North American market well, enabling Greentube to add even more local flavor to its games.

Present Creative is creating content for the iGaming and iLottery segments and has experience in both real-money and casual gaming offerings; a number of its products were approved by the Michigan State Lottery for release.

Bauer also commented on Greentube’s plans in the US region. He noted that the US was a market of great importance to them, and they had bold plans to become a leading supplier in the region. He added that the Present Creative acquisition would propel that expansion.

Ben Sutherland, the Present Creative co-founder and CEO, said that they were excited to then be part of the Greentube family and that acquisition would allow them to speed up their development processes and take their content to new heights. He called the acquisition a fantastic opportunity for Present Creative and shared the desire to work closely with Greentube to bring exciting new content to local players.
