A New WSOP Tournament With 14 Influencers Will Be Launched
A huge announcement has been made. 14 influencers will take part in a new tournament set by the World Series of Poker. The winner will be named a legend of WSOP.
The initial stage of a new campaign will be launched in the USA this week. The contestants will be divided into 5 teams. WSOP mentors will help them on their way to beating others.
World Series of Poker will reveal the contestants during a live stream on Instagram later this week. The spectators will watch and react to the influencers opening their secret boxes from World Series of Poker and revealing their opponents.
The background of participants differs. There are comedy actors, gamers, film makers, sportsmen, fitness trainers, etc. Their coaches are some of the best poker players in the world.
In December 2022, the teams will go head-to-head at an unknown location in the USA. World Series of Poker also promised to immerse poker fans in a competition with live broadcasts and possibilities to have contact with WSOP legends and the contestants.
Guy Ceder, the GM of World Series of Poker, noted that they are excited to begin the one-of-a-kind tournament with 14 popular influencers with different backgrounds that will take 8 months.
