WarHorse Casino Will Soon Appear in Nebraska

WarHorse Gaming held a groundbreaking ceremony for the WarHorse Casino at Lincoln Raceway, Nebraska. The temporary venue will open its doors in September, and the permanent facility will become available to gamblers in a year and a half.

Warhorse Management and the Nebraska Horsemen have laid the first stone. The first phase of construction features a 9,000-square-foot gambling hall, about 450 slots, sportsbook kiosks, and live horse racing. The second step will include apartments, a conference center, and a restaurant. It is scheduled for completion in September, 2023. Warhorse announced the gambling venue would create about 900 vacancies in the town.

Lance Morgan, the company’s CEO, noted that it had been a difficult way since the project had been accepted, but they were thrilled about all the options the casino would deliver to the community and looked forward to fulfilling their commitment to keep money in the state.

Lynne McNally, CEO of Nebraska Horseman, commented that she thought locals were thrilled about it, and they were going to be a massive help to Lincoln and Omaha.

WarHorse Gaming intends to build a new gambling venue in Omaha this summer. According to the presented plan, this project will renovate the existing complex as well as the new building and expand the space by nearly 67,000 square feet. Moreover, it’s planned to build a stage for live entertainment, several bars, a food hall, and a coffee shop.
