The PGCB Punishes 3 Gambling Organizations

The Pennsylvania commission, known as The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), has fined 1 gambling provider and 2 companies that manage land-based casinos.

The 3 organizations that were penalized, the amount of penalties, and the causes of these punishments are listed below.

  • Underdog Sports, Inc. has received a $8,000 penalty. 5 legal entities which were registered by the company did not possess valid permits when Underdog organized fantasy contests. Two of the company’s shareholders did not have appropriate permits and should have been investigated.
  • Wind Creek Bethlehem, LLC, the company that manages the casino in Northampton County, has got a $20,000 sanction. A breach occurred when the casino representatives couldn’t stop a person on the Pennsylvania commission’s Self-Exclusion list from active gaming on a couple of visits within a week.
  • Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing Association, Inc., the company that manages the casino in Dauphin County, has got a $7,500 penalty. A self-excluded player was allowed to gamble and withdraw money.

The total amount of penalties is $35,500.
